I think my roomate might poison me. I consider her mentally unstable. Now. The day that senator Ted Kennedy died my roomate had a fight with our landlord over the phone. This roomate then called the public health department of the city and filed a complaint about rodents. There are mice here, we are sure. There are squirrels in the walls as well. There have been for years, or at least we have been in this house for two years and we have heard or seen these things intermittently.
Yesterday I went apeshit via email to all the roomates about the situation. I threatened to be disruptive during the roomates visitors stay, which is tomorrow. The landlord will not renew our lease until this girl leaves. We want a lease. We were already choosing a roomate for sept 1. Next week. Now we may have two rooms to fill. There is infighting because I was so harsh on the girl. Considering all the things I thought that day, yesterday, I am lucky that I only called her irresponsible. Finding a roomate for soon-vacated room has been hard, because we roomates are not on the same page about who to get. Everyone else liked some guy, I thought was smudge, and then he agreed to sign, then he postponed, then he ditched.
So 1-2 roomates to be found in the next few days. Unless I piss another off. Wakt.
What happened with the roommate? Your loyal readership needs the update. Gotta have the info.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit a comment. um, She called the city board to public health to complain mice without telling us. So the landlord wanted her out. at the end of that week. She is instead staying until the end of september. Hopefully we find a new decent person by then. What am I supposed to email this to you? Shit.
